Refreshed Montagu Kitchen this September 2018

Refreshing this September in time for the autumn/season, The Montagu Kitchen will celebrate the best of British produce, taking inspiration from the National Trust’s Chartwell house and garden in Kent – Winston Churchill’s illustrious former residence. Under direction from Kent-born Executive Chef, Mark Sainsbury, The Montagu Kitchen will offer fresh, British cuisine that taps into the seasonality of the Chartwell Gardens, and aims to put nature at the heart of its menus and interiors.

Highlights of September’s menu include:
Marmalade pork belly, kale braised with barley and herbs, winter vegetables, and red wine sauce With Chef’s homemade marmalade
Sea bass, fennel and potato bake with snap peas, carrots with lemon caper, gherkins With chives and parsley from The Montagu Kitchen’s rooftop garden
Apple Charlotte With pureed Granny Smith sauce and homemade smoked cinnamon ice cream
Raspberry Rose Bakewell Tart With homemade English honey ice cream
