UPDATED: 8 JULY 2018
Could this summer be any better? We have (fingers crossed) nearly constant sunshine, the World Cup and now Wimbledon! For some, pubs are the only place to plea for points, for others outdoor screens can be the favoured viewing during summer events or maybe a bright gastropub is the ideal mix of hip and hops for your home goal hopes. Overall, nothing can beat the feeling of being surrounded by equally enthusiastic patrons to cheer on the Three Lions or anxiously watch the volleys on center court. Here are the best placed pubs, restaurants and outdoor screens to perch and pray for positive penalties and ‘paint the line’ punts, essentially where to watch the World Cup and Wimbledon in Marble Arch and Edgware Road.
** UPDATE: BST HYDE PARK Will be showing The England VS Croatia game on its GIANT outdoor screen on Wednesday, 11 July, but tickets were given through a ballot. If you applied, you will be notified around 10am on 10 July. Remember to use hashtag #CROENG!
