Marble Arch has been a gateway to London for centuries. The area plays a vital role in London’s history.
By day Marble Arch is an important tourist destination, employment centre, home to many schools and community organisations and a local shopping district. By night its vibrancy becomes part of London’s personality, with bustling restaurants and cafes.
Marble Arch’s heritage, local and international appeal deserves to be matched by high quality public realm standards, place-making and customer and visitor experiences. We want to make the district more welcoming, reduce anti-social behaviour, promote its assets and improve the living and working environment.
The area is a place to cherish. There is a genuine desire shared by the people who live and work in the area to protect what is unique and popular about the offer, celebrate its diversity and improve its appeal.
The aim of the BID is to improve trading conditions and to make the area more successful for all organisations.
Together with businesses, the community, Transport for London and Westminster City Council the BID is creating a shared vision for Marble Arch and Edgware Road. Our vision is set out in our BID Proposal, on which businesses voted in 2021.
