Hankies Marble Arch

The restaurant has closed its doors for renovation and will re-open in 2024.

Hankies is a casual Indian street food restaurant serving Indian Tapas and specialise in serving Roomali Roti – a classic Indian roti which is hand spun till its thin enough to read through, cooked on a burning hot Roomali Tawa and folded into ‘Hankies’. Tapas style is perfect for this restaurant as you’ll want to try everything – especially with most dishes priced between £4-5 and the most expensive being £9. Try it all from small plates, like Dahi Puri (okra, onion, pomegranate, rice puffs and chilli tomato chutney), to mains like a (very hot) chilli lamb chop with soft and oozing juices and the “most  impressive to look at” (Evening Standard) sea bream fried in spices, which is flavourful. Of course, you must try the lassis. there’s also cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks.
