Santander bikes

Hiring a Santander Cycle is a low-cost and sustainable way to travel. There are more than 12,000 cycles at around 800 docking stations across London. You can hire a Santander Cycle in London from £1.65 for 30 minutes, or you can become a monthly member for £20 a month or an annual member for £120. These subscriptions give you unlimited 60-minute rides for no extra fee.

To hire a Santander bike you will need to download the Santander Cycles app in the App Store or go to your nearest docking station with your bank card. Find out more on the TfL website.

Congestion charge and ULEZ

The Congestion Charge is a £15 daily charge if you drive within the Congestion Charge zone 7:00-18:00 Monday-Friday and 12:00-18:00 Sat-Sun and bank holidays. No charge between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day bank Holiday (inclusive). The easiest way to pay is by setting up Auto Pay. Exemptions and discounts are also available. There’s an annual registration charge of £10 for each vehicle you register.

If your vehicle does not meet the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) standards, you must also pay the ULEZ charge. ULEZ operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year, except Christmas Day (25 December)
