We were delighted to host a networking event for Marble Arch BID members and stakeholders on 6 October 2026 at Lírica, the Spanish restaurant at The Cumberland Hotel.
Lírica was recently shortlisted as a finalist in the Best in Bar & Restaurant Design category at The Brit List Awards 2026 and it is easy to see why, with many of our guests commenting on how beautiful the space is.
From 5pm to 7pm, 42 people joined us, including BID members from offices, hotels, restaurants, venues and schools, as well as stakeholders and partners. It was a real pleasure to see so many familiar faces in one room, and to welcome some new ones too.
Guests enjoyed a selection of Spanish tapas, including baby chorizo glazed in red wine, manchego croquetas, grilled courgette stuffed with roasted vegetables, tortilla con chorizo, churros and creme catalan, along with sangria, Cava and a frambuesa spritzer. The food was warmly praised by guests, and the live Spanish music was just as popular, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment people arrived.
Our Chairman, Colin Francis, gave a short speech about the BID’s work and thanked the BID team for their hard work and dedication.
There was a real buzz in the room throughout the evening. People caught up with colleagues, introduced themselves to new faces and swapped ideas, and it was wonderful to watch new connections being made across so many different sectors. Events like these give us the chance to meet our members in person, and we always come away with a better understanding of what matters to them.
The team at Lírica went above and beyond, and we would like to thank them for their warm hospitality. Thank you also to everyone who came along and made the evening so enjoyable.
