Marble Arch BID in partnership with the Metropolitan Police will be running a bike marking event at Burwood Place on Friday 20 October 2023 from 2.30-4.30pm. Registering your bike helps police and retailers identify and verify the legitimate owner of bikes that have been stolen or are being resold.
Bike marking is an effective way to prevent and deter the theft of your property. Attend this free event and register your bike on Bike Register, the UK’s national, Police preferred, bicycle marking & registration scheme. Every Police force in the UK uses the BikeRegister database to search for stolen & recovered bikes.
How does BikeRegister work?
- Register your bike at our event.
- The police will attach a Bike Register sticker with a number unique to your frame.
- Your unique number will be added to the Bike Marking National Cycle Database.
