Costa colleagues from the 108 Edgware Road branch were out in the local community on Wednesday 30 October, spending the morning supporting their local Foodbank. Excitingly, Costa were the first Marble Arch volunteer group to support the charity in their new community space.
The Costa team were put to work straight away, helping to sort and package the morning’s fresh food deliveries. The team then spent the rest of the session putting together weekly food packages for service users.
North Paddington Foodbank is open to the public each Wednesday morning and serves over 5000 people each year. Referred service users can collect food parcels, in addition to receiving support from the Citizens Advice Bureau.
The Food Bank relies on donations of non-perishable food and toiletries to supplement their stock levels. If you would like to support the North Paddington Foodbank as part of a corporate volunteering project, either by holding a collection in your office or by volunteering, please contact our Community Team, who would be delighted to support you.
