The End of the EU Transition Period, 9 December 2020 10am – 11am
Your business should act now to start preparing for the new trading rules that will be in effect from January 2021. This virtual event is designed to guide your business across four key areas:
- Employing EU nationals in the UK, or Employing UK nationals in your European Office: Free movement is coming to an end on 31 December 2020. The UK has made changes to its immigration rules that will start on 31 December 2020. These changes are likely to affect both EU nationals and other non-UK nationals working in the UK. If you employ UK nationals in a European Office, they will also be affected. Learn how to support your staff and encourage them to take action.
- Trading with EU companies, the UK Global Tariff, imports and exports: Trading across borders will change significantly at the end of the year. This includes changes to cross border trade documentation, the UK Global Tariff (which will replace the EU’s Common External Tariff).
