Local Marble Arch recruitment company, Artisan People, have been actively involved in the Community Programme this month. The company have run three workshops for two local homeless charities – West London Mission and the Marylebone Project. Colleagues from their HR, Museum & Galleries and Beauty Retail divisions all delivered employability workshops and mock interviews sessions. The sessions were designed to support individuals that have been affected by homelessness and unemployment.
During the sessions service users were given an insight into the different companies Artisan People recruit for and the necessary skills required for each role. The sessions also covered employability top tips as well as CV and interview guidance. Excitingly, Artisan People later invited three individuals back for job interviews, having been so impressed by them during the workshops. Artisan People will be back in the community later this year, running an additional workshop for WLM-Katherine Price Hughes.
The Marble Arch Partnership works closely with several local charities who are always keen to work with local businesses. If you would be interested in supporting a local charity, please contact our Community Team for details.
