A huge thank you to Stylus Media and Marks & Spencer for all their community efforts this month. Both companies have been busy donating surplus office equipment and furniture to six of our Marble Arch community partners.

With many colleagues being encouraged to work remotely, Stylus Media were keen to find good homes for their unneeded items. Donations included three months’ worth of tea, coffee and sugar which were sent to the North Paddington Foodbank. This donation follows Stylus Media’s successful visit to the foodbank back in March.

Stylus Media later donated twelve artificial Christmas Trees to Christ Church Bentinck C of E Primary. These trees will be decorated by the students and will be displayed throughout the school over the coming weeks.

Other donations include twelve office plants which were sent to the Westminster Society and five boxes of disposable tableware were given to the Marylebone Project. The plates, cups and forks will be used if any of the shelters service users need to self isolate this winter.

Similarly, Marks & Spencer generously donated 36 chairs and nine coffee tables via the Marble Arch Community Programme. The furniture has been donated to homeless organisation, The Connection at St Martin’s and learning disability support charity, the Westminster Society. The new chairs and tables have allowed the Connection to upgrade their activities room and provide additional socially distanced seating.
