Hilton London Metropole and their Executive Head Chef Russell Impiazzi hosted a ‘smashing’ chocolate workshop and ceremony on Thursday 25 April for 10 students from St Mary Magdalene CE Primary School.
Under the careful direction of Chef Impiazzi, the St Mary Magdalene chocolatiers tasted and compared all types of wonderful chocolate, considering the importance of both texture and flavour inside Hilton London Metropole‘s redesigned and gorgeous Edg dining area.
Students needed no encouragement to tuck into the display using specialist hammers to crack open the chocolate.
Chef Impiazzi kindly handed out small bags so the students could share the remaning chocolate goodies with friends and family members. The students were so impressed with one particular chocolate egg, they decided to name it Russel and take it back to school.
The morning came to a close with a lively Q&A where students had the opportunity to find out what it is like to be a Chef at the Hilton London Metropole.
