POSTPONED – The Great British Spring Clean 2020

Updated 12 March 2020

With COVID19 having now being declared as a pandemic we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our Great British Spring Clean Event scheduled on 25 March 2020. We appreciate this is disappointing, however the health and wellbeing of our members is our top priority and with growing concerns around the virus we like many businesses are having to step up our precautionary measures. We will be monitoring the situation closely with the Royal Parks and will plan to review dates in April.

Pledge to pick with the Marble Arch Business Improvement District and join Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean 2020.

Following the success of our partnership in 2018, the Marble Arch London BID and the Royal Parks are again working in collaboration to host an event on Wednesday 25 March (postponed – new date to be reviewed). The Great British Spring Clean is the UK’s largest environmental campaign and is designed to encourage people to tidy up their local parks, streets and waterways.

Volunteering opportunity:

We are seeking 30 volunteers from our Marble Arch businesses (maximum 5 volunteers per company) who will help get Hyde Park ready for Spring. As a group you will be split into teams and carry out a quick litter pick of the areas surrounding Speakers’ Corner, before helping plant spring bulbs and wildflowers.

To learn more about plans for the event or to reserve your space, email community@marble-arch.london or call 0203 145 1210.

Get excited by taking a look at our companies fantastic efforts from last year.
