Thompson’s Gallery presents its first solo exhibition by Scottish painter Luci Maclaren. The selection of work features moments of intensity, competition, and even collision; the art articulates the excitement of British sport through the illusion of movement.
Thompson’s Gallery was established in 1982 in Aldeburgh, Suffolk by John and Sue Thompson. In 1991 they expanded with additional galleries in the Cotswolds and both the West End and City of London.
In 2011, daughter Megan Thompson took a permanent role in the London Gallery originally situated on New Cavendish Street and now at Seymour Place, Marylebone.
Both London and Aldeburgh hold up to eleven shows a year ranging from one-man to mixed exhibitions. We specialise in Modern British 20th and 21st Century artists, Scottish colourists and Contemporary and pride ourselves in sourcing original work by the artists we represent.
With their extensive combined experience, our staff offer expert art consultation and are proud to give a friendly face to art dealership.
