Marble Arch BID Welcomes New Chairman, Colin Francis CBE

Marble Arch London BID is delighted to announce Colin Francis CBE as our new Chairman. Colin, who is currently the Chief Executive of the Victory Services Club, brings with him a wealth of leadership experience from both the military and corporate sectors.

Colin Francis CBE, Chairman, Marble Arch BID

Colin’s professional career started in the British Army, where he spent over 30 years in logistic and leadership positions. He rose to be the head of the Army’s Logistic Operations discipline concluding his military career leading the training and development of personnel from all three Armed Services as the Commander of the Defence School of Logistics.

On retirement from military service, Colin transitioned into the oil and gas sector, refining the corporate management skills that he now applies to his leadership of the Victory Services Club. His background in logistics, team leadership and operational excellence positions him well to guide the Marble Arch BID into its next chapter.

Outside of work, Colin is a lifelong sports enthusiast, albeit now more as a fan than a participant. He is particularly passionate about rugby, cricket and football, including being a long-suffering Everton Football Club fan.

As Chairman, Colin will play a key role in supporting the BID’s work, from business advocacy to placemaking and public realm improvements. We look forward to his leadership and expertise guiding Marble Arch BID through its next phase of growth and development.

I am honoured to take on the role of Chairman at Marble Arch BID. This is an incredibly dynamic part of London, with a thriving business community and a strong sense of collaboration. I look forward to working closely with the Board, the Marble Arch BID team and our members to support businesses and champion the local area.
