Marble Arch companies Stylus Media and Cirrus Logic were in the community on Wednesday 11 March supporting the North Paddington Foodbank.
For Stylus, the morning session was the first of many volunteering projects that their London office has committed to support over the coming months. With the growing concerns surrounding food shortages (caused by COVID-19), the six Stylus colleagues had a very busy morning. Volunteers worked hard to sort through deliveries and create weekly food packages for over 70 households.
Four Cirrus Logic colleagues then took over to help support one of the Foodbank’s new afternoon distribution sessions. The afternoon slot allows some of the charities most vulnerable service users to receive food packages in a more relaxed environment. Between the two volunteer teams, over 90 local households received essential food and toiletry donations during the course of the day.
The Foodbank relies on donations of non-perishable food and toiletries to supplement their stock levels. If you would like to support North Paddington Foodbank, please contact our Community Team.
