This summer, Marble Arch BID is bringing colour, creativity and connection to Marble Arch with Marble Arts Week, a free series of beginner-friendly art workshops taking place from 21 to 25 July 2025 at Hypha Studios, just two minutes from Marble Arch station.
Looking for a new way to unwind during your lunch break or after work? Join us for a hands-on, uplifting hour of art and creativity, led by professional artists from Crafting Joy, a London-based creative studio specialising in art and craft workshops that bring people together through joyful, hands-on experiences. All sessions are suitable for beginners, with materials provided.
Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or rediscovering your creative spark, you’ll explore a new style or technique each session, from Pop Art and Impressionism to watercolours and Cubism, with Marble Arch as your inspiration. Every participant will leave with their own finished artwork to keep or gift or display.
All sessions are suitable for beginners and free to attend, but places are limited. Advance booking is essential.

Taking part in all four days of Marble Arts Week was a truly enriching experience — each session offered something unique, creative, and welcoming. A big thank you to Marble Arch BID for bringing art and joy to the heart of the neighbourhood. I really appreciated the opportunity to relax, meet new people, and explore different forms of art after work!

Community Art Sessions
Alongside our public workshops, we are proud to be hosting a series of community art sessions on Monday 21 July and Friday 25 July as part of Marble Arts Week. These include a creative session for local primary school children and an afternoon session with participants from LDN London, a charity which supports adults and children with learning disabilities. These dedicated sessions reflect our commitment to ensuring that art is accessible, inclusive and a source of joy for people of all ages and abilities.
Marble Arch has served as a backdrop for many famous works of art, and with the recent completion of its restoration, we are delighted to be working with Hypha Studios to host Marble Arts Week. These sessions will allow us to bring people who work, live and study in the area together through a joyful, hands-on experience, to help people unwind and learn a new skill.
