MOCO Museum heading to London’s Marble Arch

Plans to bring a brand new MOCO Museum to London’s Marble Arch are underway. MOCO Museum was established in 2016 in Amsterdam, with a second opening in Barcelona in 2021. MOCO is famed for its wide range of modern and contemporary art, with 60% of MOCO visitors being museum first-timers.

MOCO are seeking to occupy the newly refurbished, stunning premises at One Marble Arch and 1 Great Cumberland Place, recently completed by The Portman Estate. The museum would be arranged over three floors, with contemporary and modern masters, digital art and a MOCO store featuring merchandise and souvenirs inspired by the collection.

Planning permission is currently being sought for a change of use from Class E to Class F. If granted, MOCO will form part of the emerging cultural cluster in the Marble Arch district, including Frameless, The Wallace Collection and Serpentine Galleries.
