Colleagues from construction firm Multiplex were busy over the Christmas period collecting presents and employability packs for the service users at homelessness charity, West London Mission. Packs have been donated to support service users seeking and starting employment. Essential items included Oyster Cards, wallets, Tupperware boxes and winter gloves.
Multiplex are currently overseeing the development of Marble Arch Place on behalf of Almacantar and The Portman Estate and have been committed supporters of the Community Programme.
Only two days into the New Year and the construction company were again giving back. Multiplex and their contractors Lucas generously donated painting supplies to Queens Park Gardens Hub. QPG Hub is a not for profit organisation providing free educational services to local children. Their well-loved community space required some much-needed TLC before the center reopened after the Christmas break. The walls have been freshened up with an inviting bright blue, and new posters and displays added to the walls.
If you would like to support the West London Mission or QPG Hub as part of a corporate volunteering project in 2020, please contact our Community Team, who would be delighted to support you.
