New exhibition in Connaught Village

Abstract artist Intisar Alyamani has launched her solo exhibition, Harmony, in Connaught Village.

Harmony is a series of paintings of what the artist refers to as an extension and a portal into her experience of “bi-cultural harmony”. Free to attend, the exhibition is open to the public until 17 October 2022 at 12 Connaught Street, London W2.

The paintings are an aligned interplay between dynamism and stillness. Through a range of compelling and aesthetically dynamic artworks, Alyamani seeks to onboard spectators on her journey of exploration with colour. The artist describes it as “dancing with my paintbrush.” Whether it be a contrast or solidarity between two colours or a blend of format  – Alyamani’s dual culturalism shines through in multiple formats. For her, these works are personal expressions of being at the core of the beating heart of Saudi and British cultures; their music, art, heritage and most importantly, the people – an extension of her everyday life, friendships and experiences.

Intisar Alyamani is a Goldsmiths taught artist based in London and has received accolades for her active contribution to promote Saudi art globally. She is also a Saudi British Society Trustee.

Connaught Village is the perfect location for all who appreciate a rich heritage, a friendly, close community and an appreciation of fine art and style.
