Join us for our second Marble Arch Business Crime Group on Thursday 14 March, from 10:00am to 11:30am at the London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch on 134 George Street, London W1H 5DN.
The Marble Arch London BID recently took part in incident planning training hosted by the West End Security Group to prepare, test and strengthen our responses in case of a security incident in the local area.
Following our training, we want to equip our local businesses with the same knowledge and provide useful advice with the expertise of the Metropolitan Police, Safer West End and Westminster City Council on how businesses should react if the security threat is raised to critical.
During the session you will receive advice on how to create an incident plan for your business, have the opportunity to voice your concerns in the event that a major incident took place in the immediate area, and discuss the possibility of forming a local security network to communicate with each other. We are also interested in gathering your thoughts on what the Marble Arch London BID can provide to you, our businesses, in such an event. We have created some downloads that might help – featured on our downloads page of the website.
There will also be an opportunity to meet the Marble Arch Street Team, who patrols the area to discourage anti-social behaviour and report problems to the police and Westminster City Council. The Street Team will commence their summer patrol schedule working later into the evening.
To register your attendance or for further information please email Mike in the BID Team.
