Marble Arch London BID has carried out street cleansing along Edgware Road to improve the exterior appeal of our businesses. In partnership with Westminster City Council’s Clean Streets initiative and Veolia, Marble Arch London BID deep cleaned the pavements outside shops, restaurants, offices, hotels and community organisations.
Following an audit by Marble Arch London BID to identify the most in-need stretches, the team at Westminster City Council Clean Streets with Veolia professionals prepped and tackled the pavements throughout August. Each stretch of pavement received a deep clean, litter bins were removed and cleansed, the pavement underneath the bins cleaned and graffiti removed where possible.
Street Cleansing along Edgware Road is part of the Marble Arch London BID’s work to improve the look and feel of the area and encourage business and leisure to thrive.
The six sparkling stretches of pavement are:
- Praed Street to Sussex Gardens on the east side of Edgware Road
- Praed Street to St Michael’s Street
- St Michael’s Street to Star Street
- Sussex Gardens to Burwood Place
- From Burwood Place to Kendal Street
- Seymour Street to Bayswater Road
We’ll be rolling out further cleansing later in the year.
