Learn How to Hand Press Seaweed Workshop
Join Louisa on Wednesday 15 November from 6pm-9pm for a special festive seaweed pressing workshop and learn how to hand press seaweed foraged off the British coastline.
Louisa will take you through the old process of identifying, arranging and pressing seaweed to create beautiful pieces of art to take home with you. You will also be given your own press so that you are able to continue to press seaweeds at home. Your press will be loaded with pressings which you can turn into super special gifts for Christmas.
You will learn how beautiful and intricate some lesser known seaweeds are and how to exemplify them through pressing. Louisa will give you all the tips so that you can continue to forage responsibly. Join in on this creative and calming workshop and get closer to nature.
The class will be candle lit and includes mulled wine and snacks. The class will take approximately 3 hours and tickets cost £85pp.
Make Your Own Dream Ring Workshop
Make a silver or brass ring using the ancient lost wax method with Ritual Studio on Sunday 19 November from 1-4pm.
You will be making one ring out of wax, Aquila will cast them in brass or silver and finish them for you and ship it to you 3 weeks later. This will be a gorgeous deep dive into making, using different techniques and tools. You will learn about shapes, settings, sizings and working intuitively with your creativity.
