Employee volunteers from Hilton London Metropole gave the school assembly room at Marylebone Boys School a new lease of life through a team painting challenge on 30 August 2024.

12 volunteers, including events and sales colleagues from the hotel, gave the room its first new coat of paint in over five years and created a bright and airy new learning space.

Marylebone Boys School, a secondary all-boys school located within a five-minute walk of the hotel, supports close to 1,000 pupils. 46% of children at the school are eligible for free school meals. The school prides itself on the environment it creates for learning and was delighted with the results.

The classroom makeover was part of our Community Programme which supports our business members to engage in employee volunteering to address a diverse range of community need.
