*8 November – Managing Conflict and Resilience (full-day)
In response to requests from our businesses, we have teamed up with KSL Training to provide a new course for staff who have to deal with difficult customers. We all experience the occasional visitor who comes into our premises that presents challenging, sometimes aggressive and intimidating behaviour; occasionally with the addition of language barriers and this can be an unsettling experience. The course addresses how to deal with the challenging behaviour and how to develop resilience within individuals and teams. The session includes tactics and support on:
- Thomas Kilmann conflict styles
- Understanding and managing thoughts and beliefs
- Preventing and managing conflict
- Developing a stress and resilience toolkit
By the end of the course, individuals will be able to recognise their preferred approach when faced with conflict, be able to handle challenging situations in a positive and assertive manner, develop techniques to use before, during and after the incident and build your own personal stress and resilience toolkit. This is a full-day course to provide the skills and practice required and will be delivered in an interactive and engaging way with real-life scenarios incorporated into the practical sessions.
9:30am – 4:30pm at Etc Venues, Garfield House, 86 Edgware Rd, W2 2EA.
