Savvy at Scrabble? Cunning at Cluedo? Marble Arch London BID invite you to join a Board-Gaming Gala on Thursday 10 October, as part of the national campaign, Silver Sunday 2019.
In partnership with Silver Sunday 2019, Marble Arch London BID is seeking volunteers from local businesses and guests from the local community for an afternoon of amusement, cheer and togetherness. Refreshments will be provided, as well as entertainment from local school choirs. Volunteers will help to host tables and ensure everyone who attends has a fun-filled afternoon.

Launched in 2012 by the Sir Simon Milton Foundation and Westminster City Council, Silver Sunday has grown into a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of loneliness and isolation amongst the elderly and celebrate the elderly.
Silver Sunday is a powerful vehicle to draw attention to the problem of loneliness amongst older people. Celebrating the contribution of older people to society, also increases their happiness and wellbeing and presents an opportunity to bring generations together. The campaign is supported by influential organisations, brands and public figures, such as Natwest, Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Chelsea FC, Royal Collection Trust, Joanna Lumley OBE FRGS, the Saatchi Gallery, Victoria & Albert Museum and many more.
