West London Mission needs volunteers to help host its Christmas Extravaganza on Thursday 20 December 2018.
The Christmas Extravaganza is a unique event where service users from across all of WLM’s centres and services come together to perform a piece of their choosing and organising for staff and volunteers. The WLM service users that perform will showcase their hard work for around 100 people at Hinde Street Church, 19 Thayer Street, London W1U 2QJ.
For the first time ever, WLM is offering this special event as a volunteering opportunity to corporate teams. The WLM team requires a group of 10-15 people to steward the event. It can be a group of different people from different organisations. So if you’re interested, but only have a team of three or four, don’t hesitate to get in contact! WLM is also asking that corporate volunteers provide soft drink refreshments for the event.
The event runs from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm, but volunteers are needed from 4:00/4:30 pm to help set up and to find out more about the services offered at WLM. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the service users at the centres and enjoy a wonderful show empowering thousands of clients of WLM!
